The Department of Education – Division of Zamboanga City Learning Management System (DepEd ZC LMS) is committed to protecting the privacy and personal information of all its users in full compliance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and its Implementing Rules and Regulations.
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and protect it, how long we retain it, and the rights you have regarding your personal data.
This policy applies to all users of the DepEd ZC LMS, including:

Personal information is shared only when necessary with authorized parties: teachers, school administrators, authorized DepEd Division personnel, CID (Curriculum Implementation Division) personnel, and government agencies when required by law.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third party for commercial or marketing purposes.
The LMS uses SMTP via Gmail exclusively for account verification emails, password reset links, and system notifications. No personal data is shared beyond what is technically required to deliver these messages.
To exercise your rights, contact the site administrator or the DepEd Division office.
The DepEd ZC LMS serves learners including minors. Student data is collected and processed solely for legitimate educational purposes. Access to student records is strictly limited to authorized personnel and the students themselves.
In the event of a personal data breach, the DepEd Division of Zamboanga City will investigate the incident, contain the breach, implement corrective measures, and notify affected parties and the National Privacy Commission (NPC) as required by law.
This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically. Updates will be published within the platform. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

By accessing or using the Department of Education – Division of Zamboanga City Learning Management System (DepEd ZC LMS), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the platform.
The DepEd ZC LMS supports: delivery of digital learning modules; online quizzes and assessments; course enrollment and progress tracking; certificate issuance; academic record management; in-platform notifications and broadcasts; and help and feedback between users and administrators. The platform is intended solely for legitimate educational purposes.
These Terms apply to all users: Students, Teachers and Instructors, CID (Curriculum Implementation Division) Personnel and Administrators, and members of the public accessing publicly available sections.
The following conduct is strictly prohibited:
Violations may result in account suspension and referral to school disciplinary processes.
All learning materials and educational resources remain the property of the Department of Education or their respective copyright holders. Materials are for personal educational use only and may not be commercially exploited without written permission.
The Department of Education – Division of Zamboanga City will make reasonable efforts to maintain platform availability, protect user data, and provide educational services. However, the administrator does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Interruptions may occur due to maintenance, updates, or technical failures beyond the administrator's reasonable control.
Your personal information is governed by the DepEd ZC LMS Privacy Policy, compliant with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173). By using the LMS, you also agree to the Privacy Policy, accessible through this page.
The administrator may suspend, restrict, or terminate access for users who violate these Terms, misuse the platform, attempt unauthorized access, engage in academic dishonesty, or disrupt learning activities. Disciplinary action remains subject to applicable DepEd regulations.
The administrator is not liable for losses from internet connectivity issues, user negligence, device failures, unauthorized access due to compromised credentials, or temporary service interruptions. Nothing in these Terms limits the administrator's liability in a manner prohibited under applicable Philippine law.
These Terms may be updated periodically. Updated Terms become effective upon publication within the LMS. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by Philippine law, including Republic Act No. 10173 (Data Privacy Act of 2012), applicable DepEd policies, and the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10175), where applicable.
